Bio JOEL WILLIAM ROGERS
No one new I was coming.
After almost 14 childless years of marriage, the doctors told by parents they would never have children. They were wrong. My mother became pregnant with what the doctors thought was an only child... again they were wrong.
I was born in Tyler, Texas on the 7th day of the 7th month (July) 1977; the second of two twins (born 7 minutes apart). I guess you could say I have a firm belief that my existence is not an accident. Actually, even if your story is not the same, I believe that you too were created for a reason... a destiny... relationship.
Maybe that's why I make music. To connect with my "raison d'etre" and help others do the same. That, and I love the feeling of a big fat power chord from my "Cadillac" Gibson with the amp cranked to 10!
At any rate, it's not for the money. Otherwise I would've stayed in the USA and probably moved to Nashville or LA. I think there are enough people like me in those places... So after I finished my studies in the US, I decided to take the road less travelled and moved to Europe. I have been traveling and living in places that most musicians never go to... playing concerts in over a dozen countries across Eastern and Western Europe, Scandinavia and of course the US.
I don't know how you got "here" but I'm glad you did. From here on out though, I'd rather let the songs speak for themselves. So have a listen and feel free to contact me.
Thanks for taking time to read and listen... Godspeed,
Joel
